SaveEveryStep is about the passion for family nostalgia. We are relentless in our mission to encourage the world to preserve their personal family stories for future generations.

A holiday snapshot or a child's painting tells us so much more than the faces or the paint on the page. It is a memento of a time gone by, a person now grown, or a phase of life which can never be regained. A tiny little slice of you, in digital format.

Each picture deserves its own story and SaveEveryStep provides the perfect way to record and share your life in the order it happens, as a legacy for the future. Your personal slice of social history in the form of bad fashion mistakes, old boyfriends or homes you once lived in.

We can, literally, save your life.......

Safe, secure and FREE

If you have ever lost or broken a precious family heirloom or personal keepsake, you will no doubt have been devastated. I lost an old box of sepia family photographs during a burglary, and these could never be replaced. Now I save a copy of everything in this 'digital scrapbook' where I know it's safe and secure and costs me nothing!

Your FREE account includes full use of all the site's functions AND 100mb of storage space.

Putting life in the order it happens...

Our lives happen one step at a time, but the photos we take along the way are stacked in albums and scrapbooks all over the place. So, what could be more logical than to organise your memories, family stories and photos and watch the development of a child in chronological order along a personal timeline? That way you can see your life unfold, or create the life story of a loved one, as a rich and fascinating story.

Easy to share, but private too...

Nothing is more fun that sharing a set of new pictures with family and friends, especially if they were part of what happened, but sometimes I want to keep things just for me to remember - at least for now. There are three different privacy levels to choose from - always keeping you in control.

Your memories, your site: NO advertising

We created this 'family journal' for you to keep and share your personal memories with your friends and family, and we want to make it feel private, so we aim to avoid the invasion of unsolicited advertisements, and will keep the site FREE to use for as long as we possibly can.

A lifeline for every member of your family

Your free membership includes 100mb of storage space (about enough for 500 to 1000 pictures) and that's more than enough to create several timelines, so why not get everyone to take part and share their own nostalgia by building one for every member of your family -  childrens' birthday parties & school reports, mum's holiday snaps and dad's weekend hobbies, relatives living or dead, grandma can write that memoir...(HECK - even my pet has a lifeline)!

From baby, to grown and responsible

Every lifeline created within your account can have their own log-in and password. To make a digital baby book and track your baby's growth and milestones, you can take control of their timeline. My husband and I have chosen to take co-ownership of the kids' lifelines until they are old enough to manage them alone - useful for keeping an eye on what those teens are posting!

Share memories across several lifelines

You only need to capture memories once. My hubby waits for me to create an event on my own timeline, then lazily takes a copy of it for his own records! It's a simple one-click process to duplicate an event for other family members.
